DROUGHT AND ARID

In addition to providing clean, safe water to 720 people, this project will improve the diets of many families. Villagers have committed to donate their time to dig the borehole and perform other manual labor for the project.

In the long term, KSHI individual donors and the beneficiaries share the maintenance of the pumps and the labor.

SANITARY PROJECT

Since the host communities lack job opportunities, they will still contribute their livestock’s such as bull, goat and even roosters base on the population if pump’s accidently broken.

The other important strategy, which will address the proper use of mosquito nets and promote hand wash as part of hygiene and conduct workshops and seminars for the community members and leaders

HUNGER AND POVERTY

After the implementation of the proposed project and the achievements of its objectives and goals, the sanitation in the targeted areas will have improved.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

In case of insufficient funds for the project, the board of directors will review its strategy and take necessary actions. Issues of dishonesty or misuse of project funds will not be tolerated by KSHI Leadership.

PEOPLE AND CULTURE

Villagers have committed to donate their time to dig the borehole and perform other manual labor for the project. In exchange, they will receive a monthly food allotment of rice, corn, sugar and tea.
